5 natural beauty treatments you probably have in your kitchen/ bar
I’m a huge advocate for clean beauty! Seeing as how our skin is our largest organ, and essentially soaks up everything we put on it, then why should our skincare products have crap in them?? My motto (for the most part), is if you’re able to put it on your skin, then you should be able to taste it.
Below are 5 things you probably have in your kitchen / bar that you can use right now for a better complexion!
Greek Yogurt: It contains lactic acid, an organic compound that aids in diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by tightening and shrinking pores. I apply plain, full fat yogurt on my face & neck for 20 min & I can see immediate results! It leaves my skin feeling v hydrated & appear glowy.
Coconut Oil: Use it to remove makeup & all over your body to moisturize. I don’t suggest using it to moisturize your face as it can clog pores. BUT other than that, it’s a great item to have in your bathroom!
Sea Salt or Sugar: Pour a good amount into your palm in the shower and use it as a body scrub. I alternate between the two, but both work equally well for me!
Egg White Mask: combine 1 egg white + 1 tsp lemon juice + 1 tsp honey and mix well. Apply all over and leave on for 15 minutes. It can lighten dark spots, help shrink your pores, and moisturize your skin.
Vodka: If you’re struggling with breakouts, soak a cotton ball and apply to affected area to dry any pimples up.
I know there is a huge list of other natural products you can find in your kitchen that you can use on your skin/ hair, but this is a list of my go-to’s. What are some of yours?! Leave a comment!
