The Supplement I’m Taking to Avoid Getting Sick + Prevention Tips
It’s that time of year again when the weather is slowly getting cooler and it seems like everyone around you is coming down with a cold or the flu. My guess is that you want to avoid that like the plague… I know I do!
Below are a few tips to follow for prevention and for if/ when you already caught something.
PREVENTION:
Drink plenty of water!! Bonus for adding lemon as it gives you a little more vitamin C which we all know if great for immunity
REST! We underestimate how important sleep is. Do you ever notice that when you’re extra stressed or not getting enough zzz’s, we start to feel achy? Try to aim for 7 hours is you can-- your body will thank you!
Eat nutritious meals!! Feeding your body nutrients will only help boost your immunity- junk food will cause inflammation and slow it down. Opt for fresh fruits and veggies, lean proteins and healthy fats!
Be a germaphobe-- wash your hands, sanitize your work space & electronics, change your clothes as soon as you get home, don’t get too close to people (especially in public places)- this time of year is risky with germs, so take precautions!

Add garlic & ginger to EVERYTHING you eat

Add moisture to the air with a humidifier- this will help with any stuffiness
Take a hot epsom salt bath and/or steam shower
Take the time to rest in bed- throw on your favorite sweatshirt & fuzzy socks, turn on netflix and literally CHILL. Naps are also encouraged!
